The scope covered engineering, installation and commissioning of two 33kV Double Busbar Gas Insulated Switchgear and the ancillary equipment plus decommissioning and disposal of the existing obsolete 33kV Magrini Esaclad 36GL31 switchgear. The switchgear provides main electrical power to LNG Trains 1, 2 and 3 and its continuity of service is essential for continued LNG production. The project was executed both inside and outside of planned turnaround windows of NLNG’s Trains 1, 2, 3 and Liquid Handling Unit (LHU) respectively.
