At Desicon Engineering, beyond Engineering and Constructing, we believe that Maintenance is an integral part of prolonging assets life, integrity and adding value. With our knowledge and experience of EPC, we ventured into Maintenance and we have added immense value to our client by supporting them with their Maintenance needs. This has included the different type of maintenance; preventive, corrective and predictive. Evidence of this is seen in our ongoing delivery of the Plant Maintenance Contract (PMC) for NLNG and General Maintenance Contract (GMC) for Seplat (formerly Mobil Producing). Both Maintenance contracts are ongoing.
The PMC was first awarded to the Desicon consortium in 2019 and re-awarded to the consortium in 2024. On the GMC which commenced in 2024, Desicon has performed excellently, carrying out offshore maintenance campaigns safely and efficiently, allowing Seplat to reopen wells that were previously shut-in, resulting to increased production of more than 10 kbdp in the West Area cluster. These are evidence of Desicon Engineering’s stellar performance in the field of maintenance, prolonging asset integrity.
